established in 1987
We have been graciously accommodating travelers for over 30 years and we welcome you to experience the serenity of our Black Hills Retreat!
Our property is part of Russ’s great grandfather’s ranch, which is one of the original homesteads in the area dating back to 1882. We are grateful to have this beautiful piece of property to call home and are happy to share it with our guests.
We started our cabin business in 1987 when our son was 2 years old, giving me, Joyce, the opportunity to be a stay-at-home-mom. I am a fiber artist and work out of my studio space and Russ is a woodworker working from his furniture/cabinet shop. His work can be seen at rhpaytonwoodworking.com.
Together we share the love of gardening, beekeeping and being good stewards of our land.
We look forward to your stay!
